Trigger Vista Cuelists from Resolume

I need to replay 2 separate lighting cuelists on vista simultaneously, each programmed to a video played back from a resolume machine. The videos are different lengths and will be looping. I’d normally use timecode for a single instance-but that won’t work for 2 simultaneously will it? (Unless it can and I’m being thick)…what’s the best way to achieve this by other means? I had thought OSC but it seems resolume can’t output a true/false instead of an integer, so can’t directly give vista the command it needs…

The two clips/videos will be running on loop so out of time with each other pretty quickly…

Any ideas/explanations gratefully received :slightly_smiling_face:

Even if the types don’t match, did you still try to send the integer value?

When the value type doesn’t match, Vista still tries to convert internally. This conversion might or not work, depending on the source and target types, but I wouldn’t see an issue going from integer (1/0) to boolean (true/false).

Unfortunately I have tried it, I can get an OSC controller on my phone to control vista, it’s now just resolume that’s being daft and sending 1 and 3 instead of 0 and 1!

So I guess I need to be on a resolume forum at this point :joy:
