Intensity fade on release

I have a main cuelist and now I’m creating a cuelist that overides a couple of the lights and sets them to 0 intensity. I have these on a auto play and release fader. When I release the secondary cuelist to go back to the main, the lights that were at 0 intensity flash back on at the end of the fade.

How do I make it so the intensity fades to 0 when I play the cuelist and fades back to the previous state when I release the cuelist?
