Blue Modifier Key or control on mac not working

I have a M1 at my church and i use the blue modifeier key to release cues when clicked. It works fine with the M1 wing but when i go to my laptop and hit control (blue modifier key) it does not work. It opens a popup like this:

On Mac, the control key (which is used by Vista for the blue modifier key) is used to right click and open the context menu. Vista has implemented a workaround for this - try pressing the command key and the option key at the same time, and it should act as if you are pressing the blue modifier key.

Im trying to use the yellow key but its making a popup instead of fanning my fixtures

This will be a setting in your Mac settings. (I believe Control + click is called “secondary click” - if you disable this I would guess you will be fine).
