I can tell you for sure, we did not change anything in Vista 2 - and, most probably, will keep it that way.
Is there any compelling reason to run Vista 2 in 2025?
Yeah, it’s not going to work. Vista 2 has been discontinued for almost 10 years, most software that hasn’t been updated for newer MacOS versions will stop working. I know that I have a number of applications that I had to dump when I picked up a new Mac. Your best bet is to find an older machine that can still run Vista 2 if you need it.
