No connection Vista EX (after windows update?)

Today I tried to connect my Vista EX console to my Windows 10 laptop.
I did not manage to create a connection.

Power supply was oké.
USB cable was oké.

Yesterday I had a large windows update.

I check the Vista software, which was the latest version.
There was not much time for troubleshooting, so I picked up my old I3 to run the show.

Can it be the windows update?
Does anybody else experience the same?

Likely a driver problem.

When we had a major windows update we had to reload the program. Then it worked fine.
