Jerky color and intensity transition

I have experienced jerky (is this the correct word for not smooth) color and intensity transitions while running a show.

I have seen this from a cuelist, fx and live fader movement.

I have tested with a laptop (i7) and a mini pc (i5) connected to the EX console.
Total about 200 dmx channels in use.

Any ideas how to solve this.

How slow are you trying to fade the transitions? If its not 16 bit or its just too slow in general it will look staggered. It can only go up so much so slow.
