I wanted to suggest adding a remote control feature for Vista 3 that lets us use an iPad, iPhone, or Android device as a virtual console or simple playback wing.
Almost every other major lighting software out there right now has some kind of native remote app or built-in web remote capability. Right now, the only real workaround in Vista is setting up third-party OSC templates, but honestly, setting up OSC from scratch is a massive hassle when you just want to step away from the desk to fix an issue or check a look from the crowd.
Even if a dedicated app store download is too much to maintain, having a built-in web server where we can just type the computers IP address into a browser would be amazing. It would really help modernize Vista and bring it up to speed with everything else out there. Plus, it would just make life way easier when you’re working solo and need to control things from somewhere else in the room.
