I would love an option for installed Vista applications to be more overt in the licence warning. we are seeing so many times from lots of different reasons that the licence dongle is not recognized and the warning for this just gets clicked though as part of the startup process. or the popup seems to auto dismiss if you dont look at it for a few seconds. example a tech opens vista and while its loading goes and powers on other gear. the licence waring shows but then dismisses itself and 10 minutes later all the lights blackout and unless you have prior knowledge of how vista handles its “Demo” mode it looks like your whole rig is broken. I 100% love the ability to open show files and program without a dongle. but there are some rigs where its a big problem if there are no licences and the rig is about to blackout and the warning seems not aggressive enough. i think a checkbox in user preferences to either “ignore licence warnings” or “require licence acknowledgment” would be a great add. I get a lot of calls for “the whole lighting system is dropping!!”
