Fixture Color Matching

I have 4 Cyc lights (Ovation C 805FC 2 Cell RGBAL). 3 of the 4 fixtures have pretty good color matching. However, the 4th light is just slightly off which requires us to slightly change color in every scene to match.

I’m wondering if there is a way to fix that by saving some type of settings for that specific fixture? Would that be saved on the fixture itself or in Vista? I am a noob.

Thanks!

Anyone? This question could be for any lights that the color matching is off.

You can use the Transforms within the patch and apply any transforms to the color mixing channels that help reduce the difference.

Another way is through your programming - you simply adjust that fixture values on your presets.
In case you’re not familiar with presets, they should be the building blocks of your “scenes”, or Cues as they’re called in Vista.

So if you want to use “Red” in 10 different scenes. You start by creating the Red preset. Then use that preset on all those scenes.

If you ever need to adjust how “Red” looks like across your fixtures, you simply update the preset - and all the cues will “automagically” be updated, since they reference the preset instead of holding actual values for each fixture.
