So I’ve been working with programming some advanced effects in my LED pixel tape matrix I have setup, and was wondering if there is any way to layer effects? I’d love to be able to run a diamond or LR wave effect and also run a random pulses effect at the same time, for some intricate layering of effects. This would be similar to how in VJ softwares such as Resolume Arena you can layer video effects and layer them.
I was able to temporarily achieve the desired effect by creating a LR wave effect and then a random pulses color effect, with two steps: the color I wanted and black (aka R=0, G=0, B=0). Thus, the color effect gave me the random pulses and the LR wave intensity effect added the intensity wave, in order to create the desired layered effect.
I’d love the ability to do this but using intensity effects only. The options to layer effects and assign different priorities or layer blending settings would be awesome. Thoughts?
