S3 firmware update for V3

Hello,

My current system is S3 and Vista 2 (Byron 2.1) on an old iMac.
I would like to try S3 with Vista 3 on a new MacBook.

When I install the dongle driver from V3 on the new MacBook, it ask me to update the S3 firmware (restart it while pressing and holding the red and yellow modifier buttons).

If I update the S3 firmware, the S3 still works with Vista V2 (Byron 2.1) on the old iMac?
I want to make sure it still works on Vista V2 before I upgrade the firmware.

Hi Sam,

Yes you can go up/down firmware as you switch between V2 and V3 and back again. You just run the firmware process each time you make the switch
