Colour Temperature on Space Force

Hi there,

I’m trying to set the colour temperature on some Chroma Q Space Force lights in Vista and apologies if I’m being dumb but the Colour Temperature tab that appears in the colour menu has 2 scales “DMX,” and “Units.” Is there a chart or something that reflects either of these parameters to Kelvin? Or is there an easier way of doing it?

Thanks!

Hi Andy,

The CTC ranges are not “baked” into the Vista profile as the 0-255 range on the SpaceForce is a continuous scale of 2700K to 6000K.

You could create presets based on the below values. OR, we could actually cherry pick a number of them and place them into the profile so that you would then open the “custom feature browser”, by double clicking on the channel.
For example:

The approximate DMX values for Space Force are as follows.
