I’m attempting to install the latest Vista version on a Windows 11 PC (Intel i7 CPU, 32GB) so I can use the show file from my church to be able to learn the software and create some training for our volunteers. During the install process, it stopped by providing the following message:
I have no idea what this is telling me nor do I know how to fix it. How do I proceed? Help!
Are you in a Adminstrator Account of the computer?
No, however I just tried it again and ran as Administrator but it crashed my computer. Got a Windows (new version) blue screen saying “Your device ran into an error and needs to restart”. It had just started the step saying “Execute: HASPUserSetup/s/v/qn”
What’s my next step?
Are you sure that you are trying to install the latest version - R1 is the first build of Vista 3 as I can see in the screenshot. I would try Vista R5 (its in beta currently but it is likley the same commit number as release). It might be possible that this early version R1 of Vista 3 has an error with this system.
I’ll check—I just downloaded it last Friday from this URL: https://www.vistabychromaq.com/responsive/default.html says it’s Build 18925. Is that an old one?
Wow, not sure how you even found that URL, its like a time machine!
Use this version of Vista:Dropbox
(You might also have to upgrade the version at your church if you want to import the showfile back and forth).
