# Swing Fx With FLashing

I have a Swing FX running and when the lights turn off and come back down i want it to stay off but thats get overided if i do the flash white. How do i prevent this?

I think I found the solution by just setting the priority to normal on the flatscreen Ye and moving cue

Remove intensity from your “flash” cuelist.  
You will then also need to change the “flash” button action to become “play/release”.

If I understand you correctly you want to “bump” a white color over the top of the underlying intensity and position waterfall effect?

Yes that is correct but it should bump to the color while also doing full intesity resulting in a fx where it flashes bright white
